Caregiver Gaggenau

Care for a 65-year-old gentleman with one-sided paralysis, 175 cm tall, 86 kg, with mobility issues. The gentleman has had multiple strokes, suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes requiring insulin. He speaks slowly, is depressed, takes medication, and is incontinent, using diaper briefs. The gentleman requires transfers to a wheelchair several times a day, assistance with hygiene, hair washing, shaving, dressing, and changing incontinence materials (a toilet and shower chair are also available). Food needs to be cut into small pieces, medications prepared, and meals eaten together. Walks and social activities are also part of the care. Occasional nighttime waking is required, and he also uses a urinal bottle. The gentleman lives with his wife, who also requires care, including hygiene assistance, showering twice a week, dressing, and uses diapers. Household management includes cleaning, shopping, cooking, and laundry care. Children live in the house but have their own residences.
