The gentleman requires assistance transferring to a wheelchair several times a day, performing hygiene, washing hair, shaving, dressing, changing incontinence products (a toilet and shower chair are also available), cutting food into small pieces, preparing medications, shared mealtimes, and walks. Occasional night waking is required, and he also uses a urinal bottle. The gentleman lives at home with his wife, who also requires care, including hygiene, showering twice a week, dressing, and using diapers. Household management includes cleaning, shopping, cooking, and laundry care. Children live in the house but have their own residences.
