Care for a self-sufficient 95-year-old lady, 45 kg, 150 cm, who has had a stoma for 30 years. She still changes the pouch herself. She has an increased risk of falling. After a fall, she was very weakened, so she moved in with her son. She is now in very good condition again. She wears incontinence pants that need changing. She manages most things herself. She dresses herself, makes her bed, and prepares breakfast. She only needs occasional help, depending on her current condition. Sometimes help is needed with personal hygiene. The caregiver prepares simple meals, cleans, does laundry, shops, and helps around the house. Once a week, she goes for a larger grocery shopping trip. She also takes care of the cats. Companionship and general conversation are important. The lady enjoys watching television, and when the weather is nice, she likes to sit on the terrace. Night shifts or heavy lifting are not required. When the caregiver arrives, the son and his partner will still be at home; afterwards, they will leave for vacation, and the caregiver will remain alone with the lady. When caregivers change or as needed, the son's daughters help out. A large private bathroom is available for the caregiver. Free time is by arrangement.
