Care for an independently living 94-year-old lady (50 kg, 150 cm), who moves with the help of a walker and suffers from incontinence, high blood pressure, and dementia. She is confused, has impaired short-term memory, and shows no aggressive behavior. Her orientation to her surroundings is only partially maintained. Additionally, she suffers from rectal prolapse. The lady needs assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing/undressing, though she can cooperate partially. She eats independently. Light physical support (holding on) is required during transfers. A hospital bed, shower chair, commode, and walker are available. Household management, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry, is also part of the care. Groceries are provided by her daughter. The lady enjoys social games, especially board games, so activation and companionship are also important. Nighttime care is needed based on her current condition, not daily. The lady has a disturbed sleep pattern; sometimes she wanders around her room at night or packs her suitcase, so she needs guidance and reassurance. Assistance is necessary when needed.
