Care for an 84-year-old lady, 150 cm and 45 kg, with Parkinson's disease and mobility limitations. Mentally, she is fine, with occasional depression. The lady has had her left leg amputated for years, uses a wheelchair, and is at risk of falling. She is incontinent and has hearing difficulties. Assistance is needed with transfers from the wheelchair; the lady can cooperate partially by standing on her remaining leg (a walker and a nursing bed are available). Outpatient services manage her wound and prepare her medications. The caregiver provides hygiene, changes incontinence supplies, assists with dressing, ensures the lady has adequate fluid intake, prepares medications, and takes care of laundry. The lady enjoys participating in small household activities, wheelchair walks, and playing cards. Night duty is not required (occasionally once every two weeks). The husband also lives in the household; he does not require care, but cooking and housework also need to be done for him. The caregiver has her own room with a TV and private bathroom. Shops are distant and accessible by car.
