Caregiver Reutlingen

Care for a 97-year-old gentleman living alone, 70 kg, 176 cm, who has had a hip fracture. He is open, friendly, and communicative, with no dementia. He moves with the aid of a walker. He walks independently indoors without assistance, but needs to be accompanied outdoors. He gets up from bed and from his armchair independently; lifting is not required. He has urinary incontinence and uses pads. Partial assistance is needed with dressing and personal hygiene, though the gentleman tries to cooperate. Support is needed during showering and hair washing. He eats independently, but regular shared meals and adequate fluid intake must be monitored. Medications are prepared by another person; reminding him to take them is necessary. The caregiver's duties include household management such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and general errands, as well as accompanying him to doctor's appointments as agreed with the family. Maintaining a daily structure, companionship, and conversation are important. Night care is possible exceptionally, approximately once per night as needed, rather sporadically; no lifting is required. A car is available.
