Caregiver Mechernich

Care for an elderly married couple living in the same household. A 94-year-old gentleman, 65 kg, 170 cm, has early-stage dementia and disrupted day and night routines. He moves independently. He needs partial assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting. The caregiver provides basic morning care. An 88-year-old lady, 36 kg, 145 cm, moves with a walker, but can also walk without it. She has heart surgery scheduled in approximately 8 weeks and must not exert herself physically until then. She manages hygiene, dressing, and toileting independently. The caregiver's primary role is to relieve her of caring for her husband. The caregiver is also responsible for cooking, cleaning, laundry, and general household management. Groceries are provided by the daughter. The gentleman sometimes gets up at night and may need assistance being guided back to his bedroom. Night assistance is needed approximately once per night. The lady does not require night assistance. Lifting is not necessary. Free time as agreed.
