Caregiver Schwabach

Care for a 95-year-old gentleman, 85 kg, 165 cm, with Parkinson's disease. The gentleman uses a wheelchair and actively assists with transfers. He is incontinent and signals when he needs to use the toilet. Care includes personal hygiene, dressing, transfers to the wheelchair and toilet. A shower chair, walker, and stairlift are available. Mobilization of the gentleman is required. Once a week, an outpatient care service visits to shower the gentleman, and a physiotherapist is also present. No night awakenings are required. His wife, who is self-sufficient, also lives in the household and needs help with domestic tasks. The caregiver has a private room in the attic with a private bathroom and washing machine; a bicycle is also available. The caregiver has ample free time. Meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping are within a 5-10 minute bike ride.
