Care for an elderly married couple in a shared household, a 90-year-old gentleman, 75 kg, 170 cm, and an 85-year-old lady, 75 kg, 165 cm. They live in an older farmhouse. The gentleman has advanced dementia and tendencies to wander; he is physically mobile and does not require assistance with walking or toileting. He needs partial assistance with dressing and hygiene, including showering twice a week. He eats independently and goes to the toilet at night without help. 3 times a week, he attends a day center until 4:30 PM. The lady has limited mobility and uses a walker; she suffers from rheumatism and mild incontinence. She manages toileting with partial assistance. She is fully oriented and helps herself with hygiene and dressing, but requires support with showering and preparing meals, as she cannot fully prepare them herself, though she eats independently. The caregiver is responsible for assisting with hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and serving, joint shopping or shopping according to a list, household management including laundry and cleaning. A walker, shower aids, and necessary equipment are available. Night waking 1-2 times per night is required. The house has no central heating; heating is provided by wood and radiators. The couple has a medium-sized dog, which does not require care. The caregiver has 2 rooms available.
