Care for a 91-year-old elderly lady, 61 kg, 160 cm, who is weakened by age. Approximately one and a half years ago, she suffered a hip fracture. She has macular degeneration and moves with the help of a walker. She speaks very little now, answers questions, and can state her needs. She requires assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and undressing. She needs escort and partial assistance during toilet use. She can feed herself. She can usually get up on her own. Light hand support is sufficient for walking. Night duty is required 1 to 2 times. She needs help lifting her leg back into bed. She has a bell by her bed. The caregiver's main role is to be present in the house and assist when the lady needs it; there is no need to entertain her or create a program. The caregiver's duties also include cooking; household chores are done together with the family. Shopping and showering can be handled by the family. The lady lives in a house with her daughter; grandchildren visit her often. Free time by agreement.
