She sees very poorly, is almost blind. There is a risk of falling. She wears compression stockings. She walks around the house with a walker. She needs help with getting up, dressing, and undressing. Once a week, she needs help with showering. If necessary, help with general hygiene is also required. The caregiver assists with general care, household chores, laundry, and cleaning. She cooks as agreed. It is important for the caregiver to be present and provide companionship during the day. Hearing aids are put on by the husband as needed. Night duty is not usually required; the husband, who has been caring for her himself and still goes shopping, helps her with toileting. The caregiver does not care for him, only helps him with general household chores. Shops are close to the house. A bathroom is available on the stair platform – the lady only uses it once a week. Free time as agreed.
