Care for an independently living 92-year-old gentleman, 60 kg, 165 cm, who has had a cerebral aneurysm, resulting in significant speech difficulties and limited mobility on the right side of his body. Despite this, he is mentally fully oriented, does not suffer from dementia, and understands spoken language without limitations. Communication is challenging due to speech impairments; the gentleman speaks unclearly, slowly, and has difficulty finding words. However, he can form simple sentences, so it is important to speak calmly, give him time to express himself, and listen patiently. His hearing and eyesight are age-appropriate without significant limitations. The gentleman has mild mobility issues but walks independently without needing to be lifted. He requires accompaniment when outside the home. He gets up from bed and from chairs independently. He suffers from urinary incontinence and uses diapers, but not fecal incontinence. He is friendly, open, and gets along well with people, but also needs his peace and does not want someone constantly by his side. The family is in contact, and social support is secured. Assistance is primarily needed with dressing and personal hygiene through partial assistance. The carer helps with changing clothes, supports the senior with daily hygiene, entering and exiting the shower or bathtub, showering, washing hair, and shaving. He eats independently, but adequate fluid intake needs to be monitored, and regular shared meals should be ensured. The job also includes meal preparation, shopping, household cleaning, laundry, handling everyday errands, accompanying him to the doctor, assistance in daily life, companionship, and maintaining a daily routine. Shared walks and quiet leisure time are also suitable. Night work is not required. Free time by arrangement. A car is available.
