He also has a urinary catheter. The gentleman requires complete assistance with dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting. He also needs help when transferring to a wheelchair. He can stand up when the caregiver supports him. He moves around outdoors in a wheelchair. The catheter bag needs to be emptied. He eats independently, but adequate fluid intake needs to be monitored. The daughter prepares his medications; the caregiver supervises their intake. In addition to caring for the gentleman, the caregiver also cooks, shops, cleans, and does laundry. She assists with the daily routine and accompanies the gentleman to the doctor as needed. The gentleman enjoys watching television. A profiling bed, wheelchair, walker, and toilet chair are available. Night work is not required. Free time is by agreement.
