Caregiver Treis-Karden

Care for an 88-year-old lady, 55 kg, 163 cm, who has dementia. She is confused and sometimes does not recognize her husband. She is not oriented in time or space. She only recognizes people sometimes. She is not aggressive, but can be irritable at times. The lady moves around the house with a walker, and needs accompaniment outdoors. She uses the toilet independently and dresses herself. She needs assistance with personal hygiene and showering. The caregiver also handles cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. Bed linen is changed every two weeks. It is important to take walks with the lady, spend time on the terrace, and bake together if possible. Care services visit twice daily for medication and dementia patches. A cleaner visits once a week. The lady sleeps well at night; night duty is not required. The lady's 88-year-old husband also lives in the household; he is independent and does not require care, and he drives a car. The caregiver only manages the household for him. Lifting is not necessary. A private bathroom is available for the caregiver. Free time is by agreement.
