Care for a self-sufficient 71-year-old gentleman, 67 kg, 167 cm, who primarily uses a wheelchair. He suffers from atypical Parkinson's disease (PSP), had a stroke in February 2025, and has cataracts. Following the stroke, the right side of his body is affected; his right arm is significantly limited, and his right leg has partially improved. The gentleman requires complete assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and overall daily care. Assistance is needed for transfers from the wheelchair; he can stand briefly and hold on. He wears incontinence briefs at night. He undergoes occupational and physical therapy. The duties also include household management such as cooking, shopping, cleaning, and laundry. The family can assist with shopping, and shops are within walking distance. Night care is needed approximately once per night; usually, calming him down is sufficient, and he then falls asleep again. Moderate physical assistance is required for transfers, though the gentleman can cooperate partially. His sister also lives in the house, but in a separate apartment. Free time as agreed.
