Care for an 88-year-old gentleman, 90 kg, 178 cm, who had a stroke two years ago. As a result, he has left-sided paralysis (hemiparesis), and is therefore dependent on a wheelchair. He can cooperate during transfers but requires stabilization and assistance with standing up. He suffers from high blood pressure, urinary incontinence, and general frailty. He uses preventive incontinence briefs and has a urinary catheter. Mentally, he is fully oriented and preserved. He needs help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, using the toilet, and daily activities. The caregiver's presence, companionship, and assistance in everyday life are important. Medication is managed and monitored by his wife. The scope of work also includes household management, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and general domestic chores, always in agreement with his wife. The gentleman lives in a shared household with his wife, who is independent, physically fit, and does not require care. However, she desires help with the household and wishes to remain active and continue her own activities. Night shifts are generally not required, only exceptionally depending on the current situation. Lifting is not necessary. Free time by agreement.
