Care for an independently living 81-year-old lady, 62 kg, 162 cm, who has had a stroke and has cancer. She is currently in the hospital. The lady is very weak at the moment and mostly bedridden. She needs assistance when standing and walking. She uses a walker. She needs help changing position in bed. She has partial incontinence and uses absorbent products. Sometimes she changes them herself, sometimes she needs help. She needs help with personal hygiene, dressing, and using the toilet. Before her hospital stay, she was completely independent, so the extent of help needed upon her return home may still change. Currently, she has almost no interests; she is physically very weak, spends a lot of time lying down, dozing, or sleeping. Nighttime care is not precisely defined yet; before hospitalization, she was independent at night. The caregiver is also expected to cook, do laundry, iron, and help with household chores. The lady's family visits almost every day. Lifting is not required. A shower chair is available. The caregiver has a private bathroom available. Free time by arrangement.
