Care for an 83-year-old, independently living elderly woman (168 cm, 48 kg). Due to orthopedic problems and spinal canal stenosis, she has limited mobility and is at risk of falling. She was in the hospital after a fall and a hip fracture. The lady is a smoker, smokes on the balcony, has no dementia, and is not incontinent. Assistance is required with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers to and from bed, escorting to the toilet (even at night, maximum 1x). Help is needed with household chores such as laundry, cooking (always fresh meals), cleaning (a cleaner comes every 2-3 weeks for tasks like window washing, etc.), ironing, shopping (the shop is 5 km away, accessible by bus or with her daughter, or by bicycle), and spending time with her. Groceries can also be ordered. Night work is also required – escorting to the toilet 1x. Assistive devices such as a shower seat and a wheelchair are available. Family members live nearby and can be helpful if needed.
