Care for a 90-year-old elderly lady, 53 kg, 158 cm with diagnoses: hypertension, asthma, COPD (oxygen needed via nasal cannula during the day, oxygen mask at night), osteoporosis and arthritis (limited grip). The lady is mentally sound, oriented, and communicative, although her hearing and eyesight are impaired. She moves around the house with a walker, and only with assistance outdoors. She sometimes needs support when standing up. Assistance is required with dressing, hygiene (showering, hair, getting in/out of the bath), toileting (assistance, hygiene), and also with cutting food. She mostly eats by herself; it is necessary to monitor her fluid intake and regular meals. Medications are prepared; the caregiver only supervises their intake. The caregiver's duties also include household help, shopping (together with the family), joint activities, and maintaining the daily routine. Her husband (88 years old), who does not require care, also lives in the household. Occasionally, one night shift may be required for toilet visits. A stairlift is available in the house. The caregiver has her own bathroom and toilet.
