It is necessary to oversee pad changes and guide the lady in daily activities. The gentleman is incontinent, has type 1 diabetes, and early-stage dementia; he is mildly cognitively impaired. The caregiver assists with personal hygiene, helps with dressing, accompanies to the toilet, prepares meals, does shopping (on foot in 15 minutes or by bus), cleans, takes care of laundry, manages the household, and accompanies to the doctor or hairdresser (by car). Walks are also possible. Night work is not required. Lifting is not necessary.
