Caregiver Neuler

Care for an 82-year-old lady (70 kg, 165 cm) who has had a fall and uses a walker. She has dementia, diminished hearing, and dislikes wearing her hearing aid; it is necessary to speak to her clearly and distinctly. The lady is not incontinent, but uses a diaper at night. She requires assistance with getting up, hygiene, dressing, changing clothes, and help entering the shower. Once during the night, she needs to be soothed, and her diaper or bedding changed. She needs help with her daily routine, and her food should be cut into small pieces. The caregiver is responsible for managing the household, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping (smaller trips on foot, larger ones by agreement with the family). It is important to maintain her daily routine, engage in shared activities such as walks or games, dine together, and ensure adequate fluid intake. Her husband resides in the household and is responsible for medications. He does not require care and is currently in a rehabilitation facility.
